a new window treatment

Here's my son's new bedroom. It was the playroom, hence the fun painted walls. We are planning on painting the room in the near future. The new plan will feature kelley green large stripes, with a 2" blue stripe every 18". This room has never needed a window treatment, so I had to order one pronto to make the boy happy.

I ordered a bamboo woven wood, blackout lined roman shade from Blinds.com.

This window cost about $100 to cover. I thought that was a great price. Hopefully this little investment will last for many years.
