Oh My: Building Garden Beds

Here's the huge pile of wood to make the beds.
Holy Moly that's a lot of wood.
The night before we did this project, I could barely sleep
I was feeling like this was going to be a lot of work for just two of us.

First, the husband cut the wood, I helped mark the cuts
then, with a template we drilled 44 holes in the lumber
working as team we did it quickly

Thank goodness I took Wood Shop in the 7th grade

Here's the bolts in place

This took about 5 hours to load, unload, place wood in the right spots, then screw in the bolts
At the end of the day, we are so close to being done.

So here's the to do list:
install drip irrigation
fill in the trenches
level the beds
add weed blocker fabric
fill beds with soil
fill garden with mulch
