Craft Lab: Pinwheel Photo Backdrop

I found this photo online, on Land of nod's blog, it gives a great tutorial on how to make pinwheels.  I've made them in the past using scrapbook papers and this method using wrapping paper is super easy.

I was making this for a fall themed event at school.  I found some pretty fall inspired papers over at the Paper Source.  I also hit up the $.99 store where I found the tissue paper fans attached some ugly fall decorations.  I just deconstructed them.  Oriental Trader's is also a great source for these paper fans.  I wasn't sure how many pinwheels I needed to make in addition to the premade things I picked up at the $.99 cent store, so I laid them out on the counter and got crafting.
To make the center discs, I used paints chip and my 2" circle cutter.  The day before the event I hot glued the flowers onto craft paper.  It took me all day to decide on the prefect placement of the flowers.

Here it is all hung up.  We used duck tape to adhere the large pieces of craft paper to the wall.
