Well folks, some exciting things are happening right now over at our place. Our fireplace is getting a little face lift. I've been dreaming, designing and thinking about this for over 10 years now. You'd think it would be easy for me to just come up with a design? Well it wasn't. But, I think I finally have it figured out.

THE BEFORE
goodbye white shiny bricks

After much deliberation, my Instragram people voted and Chevron it is for the fireplace surround.


We have big plans for the space. We are planning on getting a new TV to hang above the mantle. Then we'll add a beautiful set of cabinets to flank the fireplace.  I'm thinking walnut and brass.
