Wine Cork Journaling

I had to share this fabulous way to collect and display special wine corks. My in-laws do this and I think it's a great way to journal life. They simply write down the date and whom they shared a great bottle of wine with and save in this special spot. It's fun to go back and look at the corks, to trigger memories of the good times that went along with great friends and good wine.

How I spent last Thursday:
We had a long drive so we listened to this Podcast on the way Temecula wine country. We hit up some great wineries. It was a blast hanging out with old and new friends in a limo. Thanks E for having such a fun party!

Craft Lab: wine cork trivet

I'm not sure where I saw this originally, but I do remember it was from the go to eco design design guy Danny Seo. So easy to make, and pretty darn affordable. Check out this post over at Apartment Therapy for all the details.
