Wine Cork Journaling

I had to share this fabulous way to collect and display special wine corks. My in-laws do this and I think it's a great way to journal life. They simply write down the date and whom they shared a great bottle of wine with and save in this special spot. It's fun to go back and look at the corks, to trigger memories of the good times that went along with great friends and good wine.

Cute Idea! We save all our corks and I have a great shadow box full of them in my kitchen but I am now going to start writing on them so I remember those special moments too (cause sometimes the GOOD wine does the opposite ) :)

i began doing that! i enjoyed it, but since i move so often they became more of a burden and i stopped. i would love to start it again once i am more settled.

I LOVE this idea! I also collect the corks, but will now be writing the dates & such to remember the fun. I have my corks in vintage decanters. Thanks for the wonderful idea.

I followed this picture over from someone someone pinned on Pinterest (http://pinterest.com/pin/234890936784710021/) b/c I notice Rancho Bernardo written on that cork and my husband and I were married at the Bernardo Winery :)

Awesome! I do this too! :) It'll be fun years from now to go through all the corks and remember everything we've done.
