Last summer while camping, we caught a great ranger talk on Bats. These are fascinating little creatures. I has no idea that most are very small and eat almost they're weight in bugs every night. The book pictured above, is a great story of a little fruit bat named Stellaluna. A great read for October. I highly recommend this sweet tale of friendship and love.

Book Love- Stellaluna

Oh I love Stellaluna! Such a great book for kids (and anyone, really)...it really gets them out of the fear of bats and into how cute they can be!
