This week we were visited by my friend Leslie, whom single handedly revamped our little Butterfly Park. She came to visit the Daisy Scouts to educate them on Service and the Monarchs. She was great of course and brought the best Christmas gift I could have asked for: Caterpillars. All the girls were given a live Caterpillar to take home. The Caterpillars were in the last stages of being caterpillars and ready the make their crystallis. Over the last two days, three of ours have successfully transformed. One to go, then we wait two weeks until the Butterflies emerge. This is silly, but I've always wanted to do this and it's happening. I love it when my dreams come true.
