We've been raising Monarch Butteries for a couple of months now, and here's are latest batch to be tagged and set free at Gibbs Park. We tagged eight yesterday, 6 males and 2 females. If you look closely at the last photo, you can see the tiny tags we put on the wings (white dots). Last week, we noticed a butterfly visiting our park from the San Diego Area. This means, that this butterfly found our little park on his migration up to Canada. This is very exciting for us. Our park still has hundreds of caterpillars living in the little milkweed forest. That's pretty cool!
