Craft Lab: vintage jewelry magnets

Over the years, I have acquired quite the collection of vintage jewelry. I've inherited alot, or friends just give it to me because they know I really love it. The collection was beginning to be a bit daunting, so I've purged a lot of it over the last few years. Here's a great idea to recycle some of the earrings I do not plan on wearing (some have lost their mates). First, cut the clip-on backs. I just cut them with a pair of pliers. The metal is soft and pliable. Then, I got out my handy hot glue gun and added a dab the same size as my magnet. Then, I placed the magnet on the dab of glue. That's it! Super fast and I'm left with some of the most beautiful magnets I've ever had.

I'll be adding some to my store very soon.

I love these! I have a bunch on my fridge and I arranged them in a sparkly wreath yesterday. It made me smile at breakfast!
