Shipley Nature Center

I've lived in the same town my entire life. So, it always amazes me when I discover something new. OK, I have been to this place before, a teenager, and we sort of were trespassing in the middle of the night. Any who, the Shipley Nature Center is located in the middle of Central Park. It covers 17 acres and features all native plants. They have a small nursery and give gardening and compost classes. Next weekend, I'll be taking the vermiculture class, and taking home my new pet worms. Since it is spring, the place is blooming like crazy.

that last photo is amazing, it looks like the flower is made out of fabric.
