The Dish: Apple pie

I love to bake. However, things don't always work out for me. I try so hard to follow the directions, but things often come out not quite right. This pie was a different story. I totally cheated and bought the pre-made pie crust from Trader Joe's. I loved it, so easy and quick. I followed the recipe on the box for old fashioned apple pie, and well folks, perfection. I couldn't believe how well it turned out. So, as much as I like to make things from scratch, I just might do this again.
