Oh My : Beach Glass

On Monday, my friends and I took the kids to a beach a little south of here for a change of scenery. I was so excited to see these pieces of glass sparkling in the sunlight on the wet sand. On a good day, I can maybe find 5-10 pieces of sea glass. I basically hit the Mother load. I did a little happy dance right there on the beach. I've been collecting the beach glass since or honeymoon,13 years ago. Some day I'll do something with my little collection. Any ideas?

Well, the obvious would be some kind of stepping stone. Or you could make a welcome sign for the garden with your last name on it. That might be cool.

I really like your blog!

Ah ha..I've done a happy dance like that too..perhaps even screamed with glee. Good for you!! The Mermaids had tossed them ashore just for you. Good luck with a project.:)

I am a beach lover and am blessed to live minutes away. However, I have NEVER found beach glass. I am so jealous.

I found a really big (2 inches) piece. I took it to a glazier and had them drill a hole in it. It cost $5 for the hole (and they warned it might break), but now I have an awesome necklace.
