Craft Lab: Eggs and Grass

During the rain this weekend we did a little gardening in the garage. I saw this idea on Darby's Blog and just needed to buy the grass seed. Thank you, Target. I decided to separate the yolks and whites because I'm on Weight Watchers and use the egg whites for my scrambled eggs. The kiddies eat the yolks in their french toast every morning. After all the separating, we washed the egg shells, filled them with soil we had on hand from my dead Valentine tulips. Then, the kiddies sprinkled seeds on top of the soil. Next, they added another layer of dirt and watered. Super easy and fun. The best part will be watching the grass grow.
