Craft Lab: Making a collage

1. I painted the 12x12" canvas pearl white
2. Next, I used bubble wrap to paint on dots in green
3. I added circles in copper paint, varying sizes
4. then I painted 2 large blue flowers (hated this look BTW)
5. add large thick turquoise circles
6. oops, the dots dripped (now I'm really hating it)
7. walked away
8.the next morning, I white washed the entire surface with very diluted white paint, and removed with a paper towel by patting it dry (way better)
9. cut out large flower from some scrap book paper.
10. arranged and glued paper on with Mod Podge

I can't wait to try out some of the techniques I learned on this project on some other pieces I have around here.

I love the idea of having a dinner and art night to celebrate your birth (or just friends and creativity). Thanks for the great ideas!
