Sneak Peak-Mother's Day Gift!

Since my Mom reads my blog, I really don't want to spoil her Mother's Day gift. So here's a photo of what I'm working with.

In an effort to be as green as we can, we have lived without a printer for over 7 years. It's a been a big inconvenience not having one at home. I finally purchased a wireless print/scanner/copier/fax machine. We live in a small house and are seriously lacking in space for a machine like this. Right now, it's in the play room because it was one of the only spaces with a phone jack. The kids are old enough not to mess with it.

I'm super excited to expand my crafting with this machine.

Oh MY: new coffee and tea cups

Have you ever gone to the store and purchased a gift for someone and then decided to keep it all for yourself? That's what happen here with the Eco Cup from Decor Inc. Our old travel mugs are hard plastic and are starting to crack, so I decided to recycle those and keep these. They were only 8 bucks each. Because we have no coffee table in our family room, we need a lid on our hot beverage containers incase they get knocked over by either one of the kiddies. These new cups go in the microwave and dishwasher to boot. They stay hot for a long time because they are made of porcelain. I'm in love with a cup. LOL. Thank you SEED for being my new favorite place to shop.

Recycling- Windsurfing Boards

For those of you who never met me, I'm a greenie. I try to be as friendly to the earth as I can be. I'm pretty sure I drive my honey and friends crazy with my green ways, I make no apologies. I was so excited to see my uncle's use of recycling on his property. He just added a new fence to his yard and hung up his old windsurfing boards up as decor. I love it. Way to go!
