My Aunt gave me this to decorate for her. First, the kids painted all the surfaces with acrylic paint. It needed at least 3 coats of paint. Then I cut traced the seat on the scrap book paper and cut it out. Then I marked and cut slits where chairs spindles are located. I used a whole punch at the end of the cuts for the spindle to slip into. Viola, it fits pretty nicely. I then traced and cut the pieces for the front and back of the seat. Then I cut out flowers and leaves from the remaining paper. I'm not sure if I'll use then on the project, I might just use a few. Next, I need start to gluing the paper on the chair. Stay tuned...
