Ocean of Plastic

Last summer, we went to the Monterrey Aquarium and learned many interesting things about our oceans. The story of the huge floating pile of plastic 2 times the size of Texas was shocking. I finally found a great article about it and wanted to share it.

This is why we no long buy plastic water bottles, we use metal water bottles instead. And I really think about our trash. When I'm shopping, I avoid buying things in plastic. I always use my canvas bags when shopping. Now, some stores give me $.05 for each bag I fill up. I'm hoping my simple changes make a big impact.

I wish plastic drinking bottles would be outlawed.
