Craft Lab: Chinese New Year Lanterns

this is a fun project to celebrate Chinese New Year.

1. Take a rectangular piece of construction paper and fold in half, so you have a long rectangle.
2. cut lines on one side 3/4's of the way up.
3. take another coordinating piece of paper and fold the long edge 1" inch over.
4. open the cut piece and insert the end into the fold and staple together.
5. do this to both sides.
6. make a cylinder shape out of this piece and staple(you can over lap the pieces to make this work
7. staple on handles
