Craft Lab: Kids Make Play Dough

This was a great craft project to keep the kiddies busy for a while: salt play dough. All you need is 2 cups of salt, 2 cups of flour, and 1 cup of water. Have the kids measure and mix and knead the dough. Then, they can be creative and make whatever they wish. Our kids went for pizza. I made a peace sign and moustache. After they were done with the pieces, place on a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake at 300 degrees for about an hour. After the pieces cool, let the kids paint them as they wish. So much fun and hours of fun.
