California Natives

I saw this flowering bush a couple of weeks ago at the Shipley Nature Center, and noticed it would be in full bloom in a few more weeks. So, I headed back to sneak another peek at this beauty brush. I have no idea what it is. Do You? These white blooms are breathtaking and I could sit all day and stare at these beauties. Enjoy!

I'm glad badmomgoodmom had the truth because when I lived in California, I heard them called the fried egg plant or Mexican poppies.
