Oh My- Carrots

I was so excited to plant my organic container garden earlier this summer. However, by no means has it fed us. My tomatoes are just now growing. I'm not too sure what I'm doing wrong, but things are growing at a very slow rate. I still have peppers, tomatos, and green onions that are slowing growing. The carrots did alright, but look at them, they are so funky. I'm not giving up, but I really think I should build a raised garden and leave the containers to flowers.
