Oh My: Happy 13 year Anniversary!

Today is our 13 year wedding Anniversary. This year we decided to postpone celebrating until we see Michael Franti in a few weeks. So worth the wait, knowing we'll be dining in a fancy LA restaurant and thoroughly enjoying ourselves at the concert. In honor of today, I will redoing this gift my honey gave me on our 5 year anniversary. I'm going to paint this frame from silver to white. Here's the story of this frame: We decided to only spend $10 dollars on our gifts that year. I got him a Betta Fish. On our way to a dinner and a play, he presented me a framed version of exactly what he said to me when he proposed. He had written it down on a piece of paper and carried it in his wallet for 5 years. I was completely taken away by this romantic jester. I still tear up thinking about it. Here's How we celebrated last year.

If I had a great night like that planned I wouldn't feel too bad about postponing the celebration either! What a sweet and loving gesture of your husband. Presenting you with his words all those years ago was truely a romantic touch. The frame that holds it deserves a special treatment!
