Last week I had the most awesome night out.  My favorite singer Michael Franti played a very small intimate gig at a local record store Fingerprints in downtown Long Beach.  It's now days later and I'm still walking on cloud nine after meeting him.  The only bummer for me was not experiencing the evening with my sweetheart.  He had to work that night, and had to miss the show.  I did capture a lot of it for him on our new Flip.  My friend Sunny was the perfect companion on this little adventure.   If you dream, it will happen people!!!!!  Manifest your own life!!!

One of the reasons I love this band is their shows. The whole crowd gets into it, singing and dancing. The band played so many of our favorite songs. They even said they will make this Vegas show yearly event. WOW! I can't wait till next year!

Michael Franti and Spearhead in the House!!!

For the third week in row, my honey and I been able to go out for a date night. We are really enjoying each other's company and doing things we love together. We double-dated with some good friends this week to see one of our favorite bands, Michael Franti and Spearhead. Michael gets everyone dancing, singing, moving and grooving. His positive message of love and peace was pleasantly received by everyone at the show.

Oh My- Counting Crows

It's weird how life works out sometimes. I was so excited when I heard my favorite band Michael Franti and Spearhead was going to be touring around here during our summer vacation. I got tickets for the Las Vegas show, booked us a room, coordinated the baby sitters. Well after a very long day, we arrived at our hotel with fifteen minutes to get to the show. Off we went, to the concert by the pool, and guess what? The lead singer of my favorite band was in the hospital with a ruptured appendix. I was really bummed. I had just left my Grandmother's funeral and was very much looking forward to Michael's music to cheer me up. We did enjoy the show by Counting Crows, but the disappointment is still with me. I hope Michael is doing well and wish him a speedy recovery.
